Built for a New Era of Ecommerce
GGBAILEY was created at the beginning of the ecommerce era with a forward-thinking idea: bring custom automotive products directly to the customer.
Our automotive roots began much earlier. The racetrack sparked the original product concept, and the experience of our parent company, RACEMARK International, provided the automotive expertise behind it. Founded in 1964 by Bob Bailey, RACEMARK went on to introduce the first custom-fit carpet car mat in the industry in 1973.
But GGBAILEY represented something new.
As ecommerce began changing the way consumers discovered and purchased products, GGBAILEY saw an opportunity to make custom-fit automotive products available directly to drivers. Customers no longer had to rely solely on traditional automotive channels to find a product designed specifically for their vehicle.
To support that ecommerce vision and its continued growth, we opened our factory in Calhoun, Georgia.
That decision would become an important turning point in our story.
From Ecommerce to the Factory Floor
As GGBAILEY grew, the automotive industry was evolving around us.
Longstanding automotive customers began opening manufacturing facilities in our region. Because we had established manufacturing operations nearby, new opportunities emerged to support those customers directly.
GGBAILEY evolved from a business initially focused on a specialized custom product and ecommerce into a company with broader manufacturing capabilities supporting the automotive factory.
Along the way, we became one of the early women-owned suppliers serving automotive manufacturers directly from our Calhoun operations.
Our Tier 1 automotive experience helped drive the next stage of our expansion, bringing the standards required by major automotive manufacturers into the products and processes behind GGBAILEY.
What started as a focused product idea had grown into something much larger: an ecommerce brand, a manufacturer, and a trusted automotive supplier.
